Lea Glandt, Hospital Manager
Lea Glandt was born and raised in Massena, New York. As a child, she was rarely seen without a pet in her arms. After obtaining her A.A.S. in Veterinary Science at SUNY Canton in 1995, she worked for an exclusive large animal practice for 3 years. Lea discovered that buffalo are by far the most dangerous animals that she has ever encountered. She then moved to North Carolina and became the head technician for a company that consisted of 6 veterinary hospitals. Two years later, she moved to Sunny Tampa, Florida, where she started her 6 year tenure with VCA and met her husband, Dave. She managed multiple hospitals for VCA and in 2006 she met and worked with Dr. Linda Sands. Lea has reunited with Dr. Sands and Dr. Pineda to join their team and to manage their extraordinary hospital and Pet Resort. Lea and her husband, Dave, are the proud owners of several cats. They enjoy taking cruises, racing, golfing and socializing with friends.
