Dr. Katharine Holder is originally from the mountains of North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University for her undergraduate degree in animal science as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
While growing up in a small town in Western North Carolina, Dr. Douthett realized that she had a deep love and respect for animals, whether she was caring for her family pets or for stray animals in the neighborhood.
Beth came to Dogwood in October 2010 as a Pet Resort Specialist, and has since moved up to Pet Resort Manager. She has a passion for all animals and couldn’t ask for a better place to call her second home.
Elizabeth Armentano was born in Boone, North Carolina, but shortly thereafter her family moved to Chapel Hill and she has been here ever since. Elizabeth got married and purchased her first home with her husband in 2015.
Tim Snarski was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He attended King’s College for General Science and Johnson College where he earned an Associate degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
Dahlia was born and raised in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee, but she has called Chapel Hill home since 2012. Her passion for animal husbandry was sparked at a very young age while tending to the pigs, chickens, peacocks, and horses on her mother’s farm.
Emily grew up in central Maryland and relocated to North Carolina in 2018. She received her bachelors degree in biology from Bates college and in the ensuing eight years she worked with wildlife, handling everything from elephants to the quail of Fort Bragg.
Kristy recently moved from Michigan to North Carolina with her husband of 10 years, her Shih Tzu, Walter, and her cat, Lentil. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Arts Education.
